The unit was inspected on 24.02.2024 by the field officer of the Board and samples were collected from STP. As per Analysis Report No. 2139 dated 05.03.2024, results were found exceeding the prescribed limits. The Environmental Compensation Assessment Committee, in its meeting held on 26.06.2025, finalized the levy of compensation as the unit was found to have discharged pollutants in excess of the standards prescribed under the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, and the consent conditions under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
